Default no spark.... Help

I just did a engine overhaul and freshened up my bay with new paint. I got it all back together and I have no spark. I have 12v and ground going to the coil but no spark coming out. It is a accel coil and accel TFI module. i tested the TFI today at a parts store and it checks out to be perfect. The distributor is timed correctly and all of the harness grounds are good (back of the head on drivers side and drivers fenderwell) Does the coil ground through theboltsthat hold it to the fenderwell? I am stumped and I am at a complete loss on this one... all help is appreciated.1991 mustang LX 5.0 A9L ECU Also I had the battery unplugged for about 3 weeks if that makes any difference what so ever.

Since the TFI is ok, I would check the wiring on the harness and plug that plugs into the TFI. Do you have an aftermarket ignition box? MSD? I would also check there for connection problems.

Somewhat confused as to what you meant, I understand you said you have 12 volts going to the coil, but none coming out..though you said you checked your TFI. Did you check for spark at the coil wire going to your cap? Was lost on this bit. If you don't have spark going to the dist. then we need to back up a step.

Did you miss the Hall Sensor (PIP sensor) portion of the title?....

TFI was tested off of car and off of dist. The plug wires are BRAND new, I even tested them with another set. They are Both good. I have 12v going to the plug that plugs into the coil. I can plug everything up (dist and all) and with the dist not installed into the motor I can turn it by hand and put a spark plug on the wire coming from the coil and it never fires. And yes the ign is on. With the dist installed in the vehicle I can turn the motor over by turning the key to start and I still have no fire. Is this a bad Coil (It worked perfect before the engine over haul
