Default trick flow kit

hey I have just installed a trickflow kit H/CI on a customers car 94 mustang with twisted wedge heads and stage 1 cam with matching intake. I clayed the pistons trick flow says clearence on exhaust valve ptv should be .100 and intake ptv .080 I had clearence as when I sliced the clayed portion with a razor blade it was close to .050 all the way across. no error in ptv check as I used a mock up converted roller lifter to solid to give exact measurement. SO MY QUESTION IS: any one running this same set up with a stock block and pistons have any piston to valve clearence issues??? what I want to know is before I fire it up if any one with the same kit had any probs? as I won't want to bend valves. the kit says it's suppose to work fine on a stock block but if cam change ptv should be checked as I did.

You should have no ptv issues.

On a side note, I'd be very upset if I ever took my car to a shop and found out they were asking tech questions about my car to a bunch of strangers on the internet.

I'm not terribly worried about the ptv issues just want to see what others have experienced with the trick flow kit I've probably done close to 100 different combos just never used twisted wedge heads I've always fly cut my and customers pistons.. ANd I don't doubt my work I'm just curious as to what issues others run into.

FA, you would be amazed at how many "performance techncians" dont have a clue what they are really doing, Then when they break YOUR car, they blame it on smething you did or something you installed

You should be fine, had buddy put TFS 1 cam on AFR 165's with no PTV issues
and the TW's have even more clearance due to valve position rotation.

just where does it state in there I don't know what I'm doing!!!!!!!!!rec. min clearence on intakes is suppose to be .080 and exhaust is suppose to be .100 all accross the board after claying is .050 to .062 and since your claying a cold motor you must also take into account for thermal expansion!!! And I don't blame customers for anything!!! maybe you do![>:]
