I almost got my suspension all back together tonite.... Well... until I ran into a problem[:@]. I removed my bushings from my rack and pinion and was getting ready to put in my off-set bushings. But the instructions say to re-use the inner sleeve. There's no way that sleeve will fit in my bushings! (Only if I drill out the hole bigger.) I've never heard of it.... But is there any differences in the rack&pinion units on foxbodies? Or does my car have some cheap replacment unit in it? The mustang I'm working on is an '85 GT with power steering.

differences were was it standard or sport suspension for options......just means on the sport suspension lock to lock had a shorter travel. get some silicone spray and you might get them to fit but without seeing exactly how large the difference is , it's hard to make an accurate guess
