air silencer on 92 mustang

hey i was wonder if the 92 ford mustang gt 5,0 has a air silencer and if i does how do i remove it

i think its behind the stock airbox, between the stock air box and inner fender. Mine was gone when I got my car

Correct, if you take the air cleaner out of your air box, then remove the two bolts at the top of the box and remove it from your fender, you will see the silencer in the fender well.. It may have already been removed, as mine was also removed when I got it.

open your air box. youll see through the fender another plastic box. if thats there, there will be about 3 bolts holding it in.

Once u get the bolts out u gotta let it drop to the ground and pull it out from under the fender well. Its the dumbest, wierdest thing ive seen in the car.[&:]
