Default Cast Iron Heads?

Ok, I was gonna go with the AFR's165 but the price is more than i can afford. What is the best non aluminum heads out there?

well we are having a good discusion on gt40 iron heads in a thread started by me . in the first page is a link that will give flow numbers of almost every sbf head. the thread is gt40 heads or p heads..

if dan uses the P heads he has, maybe he'll sell ya the GT40's hes got for a proper price. you can get a set done with stiff springs and new 1.94/1.6 valve for like 700 bucks.

my buddy had a set of ported dart heads, outflowed many aluminum ones, they also have TF HP iron heads
