the 10w30..the 5w is a lil light and with a car that has some miles will likely have a lil blow by and/or burn off some oil...no need for a 5w with sythedic..I know the new cars ask for you to use it..as they want you to think the have closer tolerance but that's bs...it's just another ploy to get people like jiffy lube and ford to do your oil changes because 5w20 is hard to get..as well as 5w30
