car cut's out at any rpm above 2500

i heard that it was the cap? it's almost like a miss--- car has new everything,wires,cap rotor,plugs,coil-- any help 1990-5.0

Sounds like someone forgot to put the spout connector back in. Either that or it fell out somewhere.
