I have a holley 850cfm mech seconadaries No Choke!! 3 pumps turn key fires right up winter , spring , summer, fall drive it on the street no problems never really mess with Idle or mixture very rare at all only when there is a major climate change
If you had it rebuilt make sure they repalced the plates and floatstoo I had got a carb rebuilt fully and all they did was repalce all the gaskets seals thats it plates and floats go bad and so does the needle valve aswell
