diff gears?

Default diff gears?

Picked up a 88gt and the guy I got it from said he thinks the guy who owned it before him changed the gears out..Any way I can find out if it reallys does...Speedo reads about 10mph high if that tells anything. Thanks

sping your tire one full rotation, and count how many times your driveshaft rotates, if it goes 4.1 times.. you have 4:10s etc.. or do i have this backwards?

Yeah, 10mph sounds about right for a 23 tooth speedo gear. I went from 2.73 to 3.55 and i had to get the 23 tooth.

the cool thing to that is you have one less mod to pay for.

it's best to turn the driveshaft by hand and watch for the tire to make 1 full revolution for better accuracy.
