Default anyway?

is there anyway i could tell if my block is bored besides pulling heads? like a volume gauge or something?

I'd look on the block (usually on the freeze plugs) in two or three spots engine builders usually stick some badges on there that say "waranty void if removed". If you see these, it means the enignes been rebult and the cylinders have been bored. Thats the only other way I can think of.
