Be careful with the 94 h/c/i. Just had mine done n now have to get a chip and dyno to get my car to idle right and not run lean

what kind of cam does the cobra have in it? since crazycobra (i think) said the cams were different from gt to cobras i have been wondering what the lift difference is.

First, how is your engine?
I think you should keep your GT engine with that amount you could get a H/C/I kit and have more HP than the stock cobra 94 engine.
You have to remember also that our computers suck (94-95) so you will need in addition a chip and tune.

Amen to that. lol also anytime you get major work like that done, always amount the extra cash for the problems you'll find. That always seems to be what I run into with mine.

You are correct, there is always something that might go wrong or might need something, even if you do the work yourself. Yes, you might minimize the cost but you are still speding something.

i can account for this being true... no matter how much u plan there is always something else u forgot to get with is mroe money... even pro's do this once in a while... an example is stolen goods artlice is muscle mustang and fast fords... they forgot stuff too... and they do this all the time so no1 is immune to it... i spend an xtra 300 on the h/c/i and so far only 58 buck xtra on the s/c... but its not in yet so mayb more

haha +2 ive spent like 4 grand in the last 6 months... but if its for 500+rwhp and same amount of torque im not complaining

no it wont... just buy a used tweecer R/T for like 400 bucks and tune the ****er yourself... ull need a wideband but if u race or nething u should have one newayz and u obviously have a computer or we wouldnt be talking here now would we

i agree like i said above 1800 is a bad *** h/c or a so so h/c/i... i dont think a stock cobra engine is worth it... unless we are talkin 01 or 04 cobra lol

its just a cam with more lift... thats really all there is too it... and its not a lot more lift just a little and then the 1.7rr help with lift too.... a lotta stock racers like the cobra cam cuz its more agressive but its still stock

Thanks a ton for the info guys. Iafter thinking about it I can probly get the afr 165's with 24#rs and a custom cam, w/ maf, tuneetc for just over $2000.00 thats cool. and I will gain a ton more. Thanks for the help and thanks for opening my eyes a bit
