You can do a leak down test check for air in the cooling system as stated befor or you can do a block test that would tell if you have HCs in the cooling system both would detect a cracked block/ cylinder wall or a cracked head / bad head gasket. I hope its just the gasket the other two = $$$$$$</P>

o ya, im pretty sure its not that serious, i dont feel any loss in power and the smoke hasnt been commin out much lately, i think it might just be a gasket or somethin even less? thanx <IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

you can have a cracked head or block and still have no loss of power. Your cooling system is pressurized, it doesnt evaporate. Either you are leaking coolant somwhere or you are burning it.

i think we got it figured out...its leaking out of the radiator cap, and the smoke is from fuel <IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">

Fuel will make a blue colored smoke. Why ask for help when people tell you whats going on and you refuse to take are advice. Blow the motor who cares its your money not ours. </P>


Pressure test the cooling system and the cap this is cheap and easy to do.</P>

hey fastback...i did take people's advice obviously so ydont u think b4 u type-if i hadn't taken their advice then how would i know what to look for and how to figure out where thewater loss was comming from?...theres no need to be rude with me and get a f**kin attitude. ANYWAY, i took a good look at the smoke andit does have blue in it...so we adjusted the fuel and it went away...thanx to everyone who told me wut to look for and wut to do <IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0"></P>


P.S. nothing personal fastback...just think about it next time </P>
