Well, my A/C has always not really worked but just recently air doesn't blow out of the dash panels anymore.. it just blows out of the defrost constantly..... -- was told it could be a vacuum line?? if so where exactly do i look? Also, how do i tell if an R-134A conversion has been done to my A/C?? thanks

Here is a pic that may help you. Look under your hood on the pass side.

Have you done anything under the dash maybe to make a line lose or come off? If not start looking at the lines to check to see if you see cracks. I know I just replaced my heater core and one of the vac line came lose and I didn't know it. Had the same problem. Started following the lines and found one not plugged in.

ok, i'll do that. I haven't messed with anything under the dash but i'll trace the lines under the hood and under the dash to see if there are any loose or cracked lines. I appreciate the help. One last question, How to tell if an R-134A conversion has been done?

I don't know how to tell about the R-134A or not. Maybe someone will teach us both...[sm=chattypair.gif]

Your blend door is not functioning, pull the heater/ac controls out and follow the vacuum lines and see if one of those lines are off or broken.

To find out if you have r-134 check and see if there is an additional fitting over the r12 fitting, it is a bigger fitting than the r12 fitting as well.
