Default vacuum leak

i have a vacuum leak on were the uper itake meets the lower intake and i replaced the gasket a while ago and its still leaking so now im gonna take it off again and replace with a better gasket, any do's or donts i should know about when putting it backon to help make sure it doesnt leak again ? thanks

How tight are you tightening the bolts? Are you using a torque wrench or just turning the hell out of them as tight as you can get them?

Mine has the same problem butI have a Jegs 1/2" spacer and the gaskets are junk. I just ordered 2 better ones. I did torque mine to 17 Ft/Ib

Make sure the surfaces are clean, get GOOD gaskets. Tighten from the inside bolts,out. Torque wrench is best, but if not, do not torque them too much.

12-18 ft/lbs

I just do them snug with a felpro gasket from inside out, never had any problems and i got a KB
