well 79...the old stock 460 will make this car plow...and wouldn't be any faster unless modded. a 351 block would be a better fit and you could still drive the bronco..

well there as 2 ways....finding a sweet *** older 351 inwhich you would want to convert to a roller cam or finding a much easier 351 out of a late model truck...

efi or carb?....me I'd say carb..but I make that decision based on $$$$$$....if you hade a 93 or older that an efi would be nice..those 94-95 computers suck but you could go with a stand alone such as a PMS,TWEECER RT and several others

I would assume that EFI would cost more right? Im leaning more towards carb just because its simple...I just want to do this whole project right the first time around...

if you go carb a new hood will be need depending on clearance corse going to a 'vert poly engine mount will help a little. you need to sit back and figure what you want from this car and your budget only then start to buy parts

but using the 'vert mounts will help lower the engine about 1/2" this will help with handling some

Sounds like a good idea then...I take it you have done this before? I know that doing a swap from a 5.0 would be easy for me but the car im buying has no engine in it and it used to have a 01 cobra engine in it...so its not just a rip out 302 and drop in 351...
