cold air intake soudns like turbo? oil leak?
every time i press the gas when im driving it soudns like a hiss or a turbo but i also got my cold air intake off ebay for 38 dollars and had to cut it myself but......besides that everytime i turn my car off it starts smoking and its wet on some pipes towards the front of the car what is that? i never had any oil leak problems either

Well the hissing is just your cheap intake creating turbulance, if you havent already done so get a better filter for it. And as far as the smoking your CIA shouldent have anything to do with that as you could run without a filter and still not have it smoke in most cases.
What color is the smoke, how long does it take to dissipate, whats it smell like, does it smoke any other times?

Make sure your car is completely warm, sound like you just have some condensastion in your pipes. Depending on the temp the your problem may simply lie in cold exhaust pipes.

my K&N filter oftens sounds like a supercharger when revving, or even idle. that means there is large particles of dirt in your filter. its like slurping a drink when there isnt any left, your engine has to suck hard to get the air in.

I just got a $50 CAI from ebay and my intake hisses like a turbo. Acceleration on the highway is smoother but the intake is kinda loud. I'm hoping a K&N filter will fix that.
