how much do you replace? is there a disconnect somewhere? i assume it goes from the tank to....where? does it disconnect after a couple of feet or is it one solid line the whole way to the front of the car?

Not sure what fuelline is leakingon your car but its either your feed or returnline, theyrun from your fuel filter area/"in between your gas tank and axle"all the way up to the k member,"next to the oil pan on pass side" there is connectors in those areas, you probally just need to replace the metal lines.you wont have to remove the tank to replace the metal lines.

fuel line can be replaced with rubber fuel injection hose. If you have a spot thats bad, you can just cut it out and replace it with FI hose... However, you will want to add a flare to the line so the hose cannot slip off.

You might wanna find the source of that wetness though... looks like you might be slinging diff fluid from a bad pinion seal!

That is too small to be a fuel line. It looks more like a brake line.

Also, fuel would evaporate quickly after turning off the engine, say 30 min after. If its brake fluid it will be there for a long time (few days or more).

It's so dirty there it is hard to see, I bet if you clean it off well, the leak will become apparant. Try not to set your car on fire though. Don't know what all has been done to your car to make a guess on the gas smell, still got a charcoal cannister? Is it hitched up? I get paranoid about fuel leaks, I'd put the car in the air, and go over every inch of the supply/return, check the filter, check the tank, maybe overkill but can you afford another stang? I can't.
