Heads/cam/intake

RE: Heads/cam/intake
I have to agree w/stangman94. Putting the cam on my 95 GT automatic really woke it up, especially after the heads and intake was done. I did have a slight problem with the hunting and surgingidle. I justlet the car warm up at 2000rpm for 3 minutes and it runs fine. The Steeda 19 works great too. However I heard it doesn't have that classy lope to it. Make sure you get a stall converter to help that auto.

RE: Heads/cam/intake
The plan is to supercharge the car eventually and it will be dailydriven. Speaking of blowers, what blower should I be looking at. I am leaning towards the vortech v2SQ strimblower, but I would like to hear what some of you have as far as heads and intake with that blower. Any suggestions as to a set of heads that would match up well?
Thanks for your info on the cams, sounds like I'll be going with the steeda #19.
Thanks again.

RE: Heads/cam/intake
I was going to get a custom grid camshaft from cam motion. However, when i read all of the good reviews about the steeda #19 cam for the 95gt. I decide to go withthat camshaft, not having to deal with all of the idle and computer problems. The steeda #19 camshaft works great with my setup. I would have like to see how the custom grind camshaft would have worked, but i'm also very happy with what i have.

RE: Heads/cam/intake
hear is how its was put to me when i was looking for my setup esp. "the heads". that the airflow was the best out the box heads of them all. i know there someone who going to disagree. the performer rpm was next on my list and the holley and trickflow would been next. far as camshafts go the steeda #19 seemed to be the best fix for the 94/95 because of the 115* lobe separation. i can amen that because it workout well for me. next would have been a custom grind cam if i haven't ran acrossit. intakes i think the holley systmaxII. simply because all the guys i respect down here live by them and edelbrock rpm would next. for as the top end go thats my suggestion.
