Computer chip?
Hey guys.. I have a 95 5.0 with all intake bolt on's, and exhaust. I can not get the damn thing to start. A friend of mine told me that I should change my computer chip..is this a good idea? Will It help improve power and efficiency? if so, who do you recommend, and how much should I expect to pay for a chip? any help appreciated. Thanks

RE: Computer chip?
I wouldnt nessicarilyworry about a chip at this point. I am sure that you know the 4 main components to an engine. Compression, air, spark, and fuel. Start with the basic principles of making sure you have each of those and work from there. When I change that much at once I accidentally installed my distributor in 180 degrees out so you may want to make sure it's in the right position.
