I have an 89 mustang gt with bbk headers, cold air intake, h pipe, and flowmasters. Help me decide what size throttle body and MAF I need. I plan to do more mods in the future, but I dont want a drag car.
thanks

the 65mm throttle body moves enough air to support 330-350 horsepower (roughly) so if you are going for more than that go up to a 70mm. For all around street performance on a vehicle thats daily driven the 65 is the best bet (for me anyway.) don't forget to match the upper intake opening to accomidate the larger throttle body, otherwise you'll get turbulence at the lip of the opening and kind of defeat the purpose.

Yes i think the 70mm is not necesesary for street.. A 65mm would do nicely set up with a nice 73mm C&L MAF unit... That should support a nice mild engine... A 70mm would be nice also but is not totaly necesesary as i said before... Either way would go nicely with a mild street set up...
