actually i did a little help back when i first got it. it was one of my first mods. the more i mod the car the more it seems to help. in fact i dont even use it at the track anymore cause my tires cant handle the added torque. a while back i went to the track and made a few passes with a bit of wheel spin getting 60' times in the 2.35 second area (my tires suck). i decided to see what the venom would do at the track cause it made a noticeable difference on the street. i turned it on before my last run of the night. lined up, light went green, i wompt on it, tires squeeled like i never heard before and about 30 feet down the track the back end came around from behind me. i had to let off the gas to keep from going into the wall. with out slicks i cant really test it in the quarter mile. my tires just cant handle the extra torque.

i wish i knew exactly what it does. im sure it advances the timing but i already have the timing set for 14 or 15*. with my alluminum heads i can run the timing i have on 89 octane but i run 91 to be safe so im sure the little timing the venom adds wont be enough to hurt my car. and like bobby said, it helps a lot above 100mph. i like to fly down the freeway at night at 130+mph so its nice to have it on then.

the modual kicks in at 2000rpm (at least on my car). it supposed to kick in when the modual decides the car is under load. with my high stall converter in now i dont know what it would do. i pass 2000 rpm almost the second i step on it. im sure now if i turn it on ill just slide all over the place. once i get my slicks, im going to the track to test the car and the venom modual. course before i go im getting mega bite lowers, 3.73's limited slip, new axles, fuel pressure regulator and a dyno tune.......wish my f*cking tax return would hurry the hell up and get here

removed the air silencer

Professional Products 70mm throutle body
Professional Products 70mm EGR spacer
Professional Products intake manifold (upper and lower)
Mac equal length shorty headers

MSD 6AL ignion box
advanced timing to 14 degrees
Powerslot slotted rotors
Hawk Racing performance pads

AFR 165 aluminum heads
Scorpion aluminum roller rockers
hardened push rods
Ford Racing 24# injectors

if i was you, id spend the money on some mega bite lowers and some subframes (or some other suspension mod)
