Default mechanical oil pressure gauge

i got a sunpro from autozone. is there a problem with the little white plastic hose leaking or breaking? i dont want oil all over/inside my car.

naw dude, they hold up for years and years and years as long as you dont get the hose too close to a header or somethin.

remember not to kink the hose... if you have to shape it at all... the best thing to do is let it soak in a pot of hot (not boiling) water, it will make the tube more flexible.... and it will make your life easier when you try to run it.

seems to be pretty easy. put the fitting in the hole that the stock sensor was at, connect ur hose to it, connect it to the guage and run like 2 wires for the guage lighting and thats it i think.

What I would do is to go to the hardware store and get copper tubing the size as that POS nylon hose they send with the gauge and the fittings so that you can plumb it in with copper.
It'll last forever and it won't crack and spray the interior down with oil.......
