hows it goin guys . first off its good to be home from iraq . but now i got in my 88 mustang today it started idled fine until i go to put it in gear (its a manual ) .itl.l go if i get it up to about 3000 but it just lurches theres no power . the clutch is only 6 months old it hasnt been drove much the timing chain and all that was recently done . i have a msd cap and blaster 2 coil . there arnt many engine mods done to it . does any one have any ideals on what my problem might be im open to any help .

any kind of popping noises or anything weird?

does the motor sound like it is suffocating?

If it has not been run in a while fresh gas, new fuel filter and some fuel injector cleaner might persaude it to behave like it should.

ive done all that put on new headers it seems to be weezing a little . i have replaced the timing chain distributor and moduel . msd cap rotor plugs wires and added a blaster two coil . i have put new headers on it . i have replaced the timing chain cover and water pump . it idles forever i let it run for a hour today but it still wont pick up speed i also eplaced the o2s . i put a optima batery in it and also added a 100 wt altinator . its sat for 6 months since i was home on leave when my son was born . but besides that it dont seem to have any problems . i drove it the whole time i was home back in may and didnt have a problem . now it just wont go

take the o2's out of the pipe and run it.

it will be louder, just so you know

if it runs better(not necessarily 100% better) without the o2's being screwed into the pipes, the cats are clogged.
