Default Engine knock on 95 Mustang GT

I have a '95 Mustang GT with around 130K miles on it. Engine starts and runs fine ever since I bought it back in 2003 from my sister-in-law. Only problem I have with it is it has a very annoying spark knock. Seems to be worse when it is warmer outside. I run only premium fuel trying to minimize this, Mobil 1 oil, and I've checked the timing about a million times and made sure it is at 10 degrees BTC.

When driving down the road and the engine knocks, the 'check engine' light displays for a brief amount of time on the instrument cluster, but always goes off. Everytime I've went to pull the codes, no joy. No codes are being stored...according to the computer, everything is ok. And, according to my sister-in-law, it has done this since she bought it (2nd owner).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Love this car and I'm sure I've overlooked something very obvious.
Thanks,
Bill

Thanks for the reply.
Timing is set at 10 degrees. I had the distributor replaced in 2005, rotor button and distributor cap in '04, wires/spark plugs in '03. Still knocks pretty bad even after all that.

Have you Seafoamed the car, how about the fuel filter. You could have some carbon build up, that is why I suggested seafoaming the intake and running some thru the fuel tank also.

No I haven't tried seafoaming and the fuel filter has been replaced in the last 5 years or so. I'll try replacing the fuel filter and also seafoam it.
Thanks.

try cleaning your MAF too, possibly add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and turn it up a few PSI

I also have a slight knock noise coming from somewhere, and i cant pinpoint it. I kindof think its my tensioner hitting the stop ( where it bottoms out )

It runs kindof rough sometimes cuz the cam and no tune, so it gets shaky at times, but i'm not possitive. If you figure anything out leme know what you did.
