Default RE: Stroker question

If you already have fuel injection and if any of it is after market and worth selling, you could probably make enough selling the FI to go to a carb set-up. I have had both, now i am currently running carb and it is much easier to tune and not near as tempermental. As far as tranny, i have the TKO-600. You cant go wrong with that tranny. The carb will clean up your bay and it think it looks better. You can order a carb from procarb for around $600 and it will be ready to run out of the box. You just tell them everything about your engine and they will tune it before they send it too you. I wish i had done that. I am running a Holley HP 750 that cost about what a procarb would cost.

i would stay with the fuel injection personally. if you plan on going with a turbo or supercharger in the future you will be happy you did. and the 347 is a good move.

Due to the longer stroke of a 347 (3.4") they have a habit of making more torque than 331's do.
If you are planning to drive the car on the street this is what you want.
