steeda 19# is a SD cam, i dunno if its particularly aimed towards nitrous tho...

Zack, dont forget about the fuel filter you installed in the vac line to the MAP sensor... which helps cut down on the "pulses" that the cam sends to the map..
hmm... thats a pretty neat trick if it really works?
i would think it would just muffle the "pulses" instead of lowering the count
it does work... and yes.. thats exactly what it does... instead of having BIG pulses, it slows them down and makes them smaller...

its an old MS trick

Yep that helped out too but I've noticed that throttle response is alot better when its removed. I take it out when I go to the track but on the street I use filter to help keep surging to a minimum.

As for the idle plate you can get it here:

Hey, if it were me, I'd make sure that I got the springs that the grinder recommends for the cam, new set of pushrods etc.
Also, while the heads are off the car I'd want to do a real good 3 angle valve job........
