Default Rear disc brake conversion

Let's say I am going to the scrapyard to pull rear disc brakes off a car that is compatible with my car. What exactly would I need to pull? Is there an online guide on what I would need and what I don't need to replace from my stock equipment? Just wondering because the kits costs almost $2,000...
