It looks like the stock stuff off my '85. I'd wait and buy better parts, but it would work ok. I know I would never want to deal with a used carb...

If that engine of yours is stock or near stock, don't go more than 600CFM on the carb.
Carb may need to be rebuilt unless you've seen it run good on some car/truck.
That intake is nothing real specail, again on stock/near stock engine it's fine.
If your buddy is reasonable in what he wants for it, go for it.......

Stock 4 bbl intake and acutally appears to be a stock 4bbl carb. 4150 is a double pumper carb last I recall and that looks like to me a stock 600 cfm carb to my eyes. Unless your getting it for free, Id pass

i would definately pass. used carbs suck to deal with and yes the 4150 is a double pumper. either 650 or 750cfm.

I have had a few people inquire about the cam, forgot you were one of them. There is no rust or pitting. It is brand new. It has never been taken out of the plastic so it is still lubed with whatever they put inthe bag.

Stock intake and stock 575cfm carb. Wont work to good with a big cam. Standard holley rebuild kit wont work either. If he doesnt have the EGR plate you'd have to figure out a way to plug the hole or buy one from edelbrock.
