I think the synchros just took to much of a beating plus the trans whined really loud in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. It kept getting worse after everytime I took it too the track. The car also started getting stuck in random gears.

the whine was from the bearings getting worn out... the sticking in gear was fron a combination of the syncro wear and the bearings being worn
