*sighs*

carb ftw in my book, but most 5.0 guys will tell you EFI is the way to go since thats what they are familiar with

You could spray with carb or fuel injection. An efficient way to build power and keep max streetability.

The decision should be based on long-term goals for YOUR vehicle. I have made great power with both.

Both systems have + & -.

Carb is initially cheaper and quicker, can make awesome power if matched to a good engine combination and properly tuned

EFI is usually overall more expensive, takes longer to accomplish but is infinitely more tunable with the proper system and if properly matched to an engine combination can be made to make incredible power especially on boosted engines.

There is no doubt you can make the power with a carb, it'll be cheaper and you give up only minor drivability issue
