Default RE: TPS differances

When I got the tps I didn't have my Mustang with me, so I couldn't match them up. I was told it came off a 5.0 Mustang, I was told if it worked to give him $5.00, it's not like I went to the store and bought one!,
I take it youdon't know much about dc powerand rheostats, it does not matter if the two wires are switched, if theground & powerwere switched then it would power in opposite direction. The plug end was the same and it bolted on, I only took a slice off it so that I couldturn it to set it!
Any rheostat (tps) will work as long as it has the same value and you can time it to the throttle.
I had to make a mount and put one on my Hilborn injection on my Hemi, along with other sensors when I converted it to electronic injectors! it has to have the value that the ecu wants.
Itdoes not look like a drilled hole, it looksmolded in, it looks like it had a sticker over the hole at one time.

It runs better with the replacement one, than the one I took off, but still didn't fix the high idle problem I have.
