Default 160* thermostat

is that to cold becuase that is what i am running in my fox

Too cold, replace with a 180; at least, thats general consensus.

160 is only good for very hot weather, mainly summer, but 180 is good year round

180* MINIMUM(or if its really hot where you live)

195* Optimal

I run a 180* and its 100*-120* degrees 10 out of 12 months here

it wont damage my car in anyway tho right

just prolley have trouble starting in the winter

the computer is in closed loop(or is it open?) running rich to warm up the engine to proper operating temp ~190*.

A 160* stat will never let it reach that temp and will stay running rich

I just put one in mine yesterday.
My car was running too hot with a 195 in it and a bunch of people told me to go with a 160 and it doesnt get hot anymore and the heater still blows hot.
I dont plan on driving the car in the winter anyway.

yea mine ran really hot also that is why i put in the 160* it still hits the 2nd line above the 130 mark is that good
