Default Fuel Line **PICS INCLUDED** help!!

ok im trying to figure out if its my supply line or return line thats cracked. how can i tell? im right where all the mess is and i cleaned everything up and i have no idea which one it is and i cant pull them apart because of the clamps they are in and it doesnt look like they come apart unless i can pry them apart. should i cut both lines? let me know if you need pictures

A pic would be really helpful if you can get one.
I think the clamp your referring toisthe spring-lock coupling and that will require you to use a tool you can get at almost all auto parts places.
I wouldn't cut a thing until more chime in if it were me.

its actually closer to the fuel filter. about 2 feet of line past the fuel filter above the rear end. ill posta pic here in a second. the clamp is whats hold the lines to the body of the car i know that much. youll see in a second.

let me know if you need more pictures or whatever. i hope you can help me identify whats bad. in picture #2 and #3 you can see the break line the runs near the rear end snubber. thats COVERED in whatever but it smells like raw gas. im almost positive its gas that i smell when i get on it real hard. so i doubt its break lines. you tell me though.

see if you can visually follow the line back to the fuel filter, if its coming out of the filterits the supply line.
