RE: my flowmasters dont sound loud anymore
The new flowmasters do not deteriorate. The way they treat them nowadays nothing can ruine flows.. The removable tailpipes sound interesting, I would look into that one.. Like they said above, flowmasters have nothing to go bad, so they cant go bad, not even after years and years of driving, that's the beauty of them compared to some other mufflers.

whoa guys thankx a lot for so many replies.yeah that what i thought that i might be getting use to the sound but always had lil doubt that maybe i got wrong cat back exhaust.i do have some cut offs(dont know whats the 'proper' term for that).............lil valves that bypasses mufflers and dump exhaust before mufflers.its nice that way...........but due to cops here in vancouver r lil bit crazy i have to keep them turned off most ofthe time.actually only time i do open them is when i hear those annoying lil civics revving beside me.lol.
i heard about some e303 cammed cars and thats pretty sick.my buddy got 87 vert gt with e303 in it and its just nuts.sounds like it got 400-500hp at idle!!!!iam in a process of building 347 stroker but due to some job changes it got postponed to summer.i got probe kit and just saving up for 185 afr heads .once i get everything then all i gotta do is put it together.iam thinking about crane cams.....so hopefully it'll sound good depending on what duration i opt for.anyways thanks a lot guys for response.

Yeah man, you're probably used to it. I have my whole exhaust system replaced from the headers back and am using 40 series Flows. Even though Flows do deteriorate a little, mine's been the same noise level since day 1... and I love it
