Default running no 02's question

ok i installed long tube headers on my 89notch (well the drivers side one anyway) and i saw the botl that the 02 goes in, i went to screw teh 02 and guess what? the bolt is there but there is no holeintot he header, so i need to either drill a hole in the center of the bolt or go no 02

what happens if there is no 02 sensor, will the engine go to a default tune?

any idea on the best way to get a hole in the center of the bolt while th header is on the car?

cheap holly flow tech ones

they actually arent that bad, they look nice and they do make a difference over the shorties i had in there a little more low end power, seems to be a little smoother thru the RPM's

after installing them last night i didnt have time to start the car due to it being so late at night, but this morning i started the car and there was smoke coming fromt he car, it turned out it was just the header coating that was on there, well the smoke stopped and the headers look decient

i hope the passenger side is easier to do

there is a bolt that is welded into the header, but there is no hole in the header itself so basically a bolt welded onto the header, im probably going to have drill a hole in the center of were the bolt is to get teh 02 in there

first off, its called a bung, not a bolt. your confusing people.

second, you need your o2's because the computer relies heavily on them to make the motor run correctly.

I'm just glad that I still have one of my O2 bung plugs in my car... now I dont have to worry about drilling a new hole in my H pipe... I can just put my wideband into the normal O2 hole and cover the other one
