Installed new TB...revving higher now and check engine
Yesterday i installed my 65mm TB. Driving to school today, i noticed alot less hesitation in the way the car ran. It didnt seem to be idleing higher really at all. On the way to school though, my check engine light came on and at a stop light my engine was revving at 1800ish. If i put it in neutral, it would go up to 2200 range. (automatic tranny). I thought mabye it was the computer or something so i disconnected the negative battery cable for ten minutes. It was okay in the begining, then happend again. As i pulled into my driveway, the check engine light was going on and off every minute or two. Help anyone?

you have to unplug the IAC then set the idle with the screw on the side of the TB, then once set, plug in the IAC and set the TPS but setting the voltmeter on DC and attache the positive wire lead to the green wire coming off of the IAC and and negative to any good ground, and move the TPS by loosening the two screws and turning it until it reads .98-.99 volts DC, this should take car of it

You have to make the slots larger so you can get more adjustment out of it. If it's never been adjusted before, it's going to "appear" that it can't be adjusted...but it can.

That won't work on speed density cars though.
