Default another tire question

ive been searching but cant find an answer really... i have stock chrome pony rims, 16 inchers. right now i have some brand of think rubber, i like the MTs but first time buying them.

im still not sure what the widest and tallest i can get... without hammering the fenders will do... any ideas? also a good site i can get them, none of the local tire shops have anything i want.

I have 275/75/15's with a spacer, but I could turn my control arm around and it'd clear w/o the spacer. It rubs a verry little bit if you hit a big bump.

widest on the pony rim is 245

tallest depends on ur ride height

im lowered 1.25" in the rear and with a 28" tall slick it rubbed. i run a 27.5" now and its almost tucked but dosnt rub.

I can't say which tires to use, but here is a link to a program I found that helps compare what you have to the size you are thinking about.

I think the MT's are available in a 255/50/16, which is only slightly wider and taller than stock

you can also get street tires in a 245/50/16, which is a stock diameter tire
