RE: rev limiter?
stock PCM has a "limiter" by shutting off the fuel supply after 6250, anything above that and your running HELLA lean.
if you want a spark limiter, you need a MSD box or the likes. i suggest Mallory or Crane.

well like for example my dad has got an srt8 300c he can do brake stands by leaving it in first not beaing afraid of over reving because of the limiter, it just bounces off, so i guess stock foxs dont do that, do they just cut fuel. i want to get a real limiter not a cut off that can still burn the motor

yah, its just a spark limiter. when u kill the spark, the motor dies down on its own, even with the throttle pegged. the limiter kicks off within like 50 rpm of dropping down, and you bounce off it.

RE: rev limiter?
My 86 auto had no rev limiter. You could spin the motor to 7k plus rpm but then it would stall out. I used to ride manual first as high as it would go, it would peg the tach and go a little farther then just plain stall. I never blew it up by doing that.
