car wont start

Default car wont start
I was using a wire brush to get corrosion off of my battery terminals. When I hooked everything back up I went to start my car and i heard a loud click which sounded like it came from the area by my battery but i dont know. And now my car is dead and my dash light doesn't even turn on. What happened?

check your connection from the battery to the solenoid.. sounds like something is shorting out
