Default trans shift question

I recently had 410 gearsput in.93 must with ford gt40 crate motor. Is there a way to fix the early shift points now. It is in overdrive at about 30 miles per hour?

I put in a shift kit, and stall converter in my AOD mustang...and i fiddled with the throttle cable, and it still shifts between 30-35mph into overdrive (with 4.10 gears), just leave it in drive if u dont want it to shift yet.... you'll probably get better gas milage if you let it go into overdrive though, i do, but i dont think its good on the car to be going that slow in your final gear...

Nope. If you wanna change your shift under normal driving, shift it yourself with a B&M Hammer shifter you will love it, i do. But a warning outta come with that shifter it's addictive...lol

I leave mine in drive. I only use overdrive on the highway. And i dont have 4.10s yet.. I cant wait to get them..

Also just curious with the 4.10s what rpm are you at in 3rd gear/drive cruising at 35-40 mph.

Get a Bauman shift kit. You will be able to adjust your shift points higher in the RPM range and also how hard the shifts are.
