Default RE: transmission

I am guessing that you are talking about a 5 speed. When you put it in gear and release the clutch does the car want to move? If so then you have some clutch problems possibly. When you put it in gear start the car release the clutch and it jumps out gear or make a bad grinding noise then that is going to be a transmission trouble. If it does it in every gear except fourth then it is going to be your main drive and cluster. If it only does it in one gear then that gear is gone.
