Default 5.0 leaking water below the headers

5.0 leaking water below the headers
car: 87 mustang 5.0 5-spd. all stock

the car is squirting water/coolant out below the headers on the drivers side. anyone know what that could be? a bad gasket maybe? i can only tell that its below the headers. do you think i'll need to pull the engine out to fix this? i could unbolt the headers and find out exactly where its leaking. if u look underneath the car..the water looks likes it pouring but its just the little pee hole causing it.

You are all stock[&o], buddy you are in for minor set back from hell if you do that job in the car, with all that back bending

Id let a dealer or shop do it if you got the cash.

pull the motor , and tranny together or just the motor, make your life very easy, . Id tear it apart and rebuild it or just re seal it.

that sucks. i should be able to do it. i changed the head gasket on a 94 3.8.

so..i already have the upper intake off, valve covers. what else comes off? can someone just make a list of everything i gotta take off? is it possible to just change the drivers side gasket or do i have to do both? i'd probably do both anyway. is there anything i should upgrade while i have the engine appart? i dont know too much about engines. i was thinking of putting a cobra upper/lower intake on it later on.

and yeah i dont wanna pull the engine.

what do gt40 heads come off of? the junkyard in gainesville,fl doesnt have alot of cars. back in tampa,fl...theres atleast 10 5.0 foxes and 50+ 5.0s in various cars at all times. but i moved away from there. sucks.

how hard is it to put gt40 heads on? will those work with the cobra intake or should i put the gt40 intake on it?
