exhaust question

Default exhaust question

is the stock exhaust 2.25 , or is it 2.5... i want to run straight pipes to a set of dynomax super turbos.... dont know if i should run a 2.25, or 2.5.... dont want to lose to much back pressure

dont know what to run..... 2.25 or 2.5... im all stock right now... but i do play on doing heads, cams, intake manifold headers.

I'll give another vote for 2.5". You will probably lose some lowend torque with the straight pipes but when you do the h/c/i swap you'll be ok.

torque down low is what gets you off the line

with a bigger exhaust you lose abit of the low end torque for HP up in the higher RPMs

any aftermarket exhaust you find is going to be 2.5 or bigger, but always noted.
2.5 is perfect for under 500hp. anything above that and you might wanna step it up.
