Default remove cats?

would removing cats increase horsepower or decrease horse? i also want a deeper sounding exhaust note and was thinking about cut outs here are my following mods done to the 95 GT:
. 5.0 engine bored to 306 CU.
. TFS Aluminum heads
. TFS aluminum Intake
. Ford E-303 cam
. TRW roller rockers
. Forged pistons
.Vortec S trim Supercharger 10 Ibs boost
. Mac Long Tube headers
. Mac H pipe with' cats.
. Flowmaster 2 1/2 in cat back exhaust
. Fluidyne aluminum radiator
. MSD ignition and plug wires
. BbK 70 mm throttle body
. Polished valve 'covers
. K&N in fender air system
. New alternator
. 180 LPH T Rex fuel pump
. 36 Ibs injectors
. Adjustable upper shock mounts
. Centerforce heavy duty clutch
. Tremec 3550 transmission
. Pro 5 shifter with Steeda handle
. Motorsport 3:73 ring and pinion
. Subframe connectors
. New Cobra Master cylinder

does your state have smog testing? You might want to keep them on if they test.

It would increase HP and give you a deeper exhaust note. You could do cut outs too... my friend has them, but personally, I think they're kinda worthless. Removing the cats would be your best bet for what you want, depending on emission laws in your area. Where do you live?

HAHA, save the environment!! Look I live in CA, like the capital of all emissions testing, and I dont have cats on my 91, they only see use when I need to pass smog once every 3 years, cats are restricting, get rid of them!
