first setup

Default first setup

heres what im thinking for my first basic,budget setup for my 89 lx,let me know what you guys think

1 5/8" longtubes and full exhaust
underdrive pulleys
ported E7 heads
explorer intake
e or b 303 cam
3.73s
sfc's

and maybe a 75 shot down the road,what kind of times will I be looking at in an aod lx hatch

That is going to be your weak point in this setup. If you have the explorer intake why not try and find some heads to match?

i would go with a little better setup. change those heads for starters. the e7's are crap and heavy. go with and alum. head. also, your looking at some old products. they have somany upto dateparts out there now. if money a issue try getting some use parts.

That is going to be your weak point in this setup. If you have the explorer intake why not try and find some heads to match?
good point,I think tristateheads or whatever the site is sells ported gt-40s for 600 or so,but do they make gt-40 longtubes for an aod?
