me and you are going through the same problem.

Exaust Valve Starts to move set lash for intake

When Intake Valve Comes Up and is almost shut, set lash for exhaust.

Per Cylinder Only, go 1full turn after waiting 60 seconds for each lifter to relax. Use white out to let you know where you are, generally 8 turns is a full revolution.

you know what I cant figure out is if your adjusting the valve at the heel of the cam does it matter where or at what pointyou do it? either way the valve is shut? Keep in mind I'm new to a full motor build....ha...I did a set of rockers on a friends car long ago I did the valves this way with no issue? But we reused his old lifters so?

buddy,

nothing surprise's me anymore and yes, Ive HAD NEW LIFTERS be bad because dumb asszs install the internal piston upside down, or the spring loses its tension and never replaced during the remanufacturing process.

Take yours apart, you may have the same problem
