I found out whats wrong...... what would you do?
Well for those of you helping me trying to find out what it was, thank you. I'm guessing the bolt fell out and got kicked up into the gears when I hit the pot hole. I had the gears installed at a transmission shop 5 months ago. The ironic part is: I just had the same place install my tourqe converter a week ago BECAUSE I had no problems with the gears.
what would you do?
-I'm tempeted to just take that crushed bolt out and tighten up the others ones and put it back together because i want my car back, but i know that's probably not the smartest idea. I think i'm gonna go over there tomorow and try to get him to come to my house to check it out...

Do it right man, if not, you could cost yourself even more money later on down the road, see what the shops warrenty is and find out if they will look at it for you and get them to pay the tow bill.

Call them and tell them what happened, and ask them if they want you to drive it or would they rather tow it. If you would have told us in the first thread that you had gear work done a few months ago that is exactly where i and many other's would have said to check first. Do not drive car untill you get in touch with them. I have done a few set's of gear's before and never did anything as stupid as not torqueing bolt good are not using thread loc. The problem with shop's that say they have ASE certified mechanics is they usually have five ormore laborer's to every certified mech. and you would be suprised at how many uncertifiedpeople work on your car.Good luck.
