Now I have changed both temperature units, water pump, drained the radiator so one of these could be the reason behind this...but I recently took out my tranny and bellhousing and replaced my clutch and plan to rebuild the t5 this week.
Now aside from that.....when i took the bellhousing off i noticed some coolant...what can this mean??? is it just spillage or is it leakin in there somehow?
Before its declared as a head gasket...theres no coolant in the oil, not overheating, oil in the coolant, non of the symptoms...if someone could please help me out itd be great

what about the heater core or heater core hoses? There are 2 metal lines that run down the pass side of the engine that carry and return coolant to 2 hoses and then to the heater core. Also what about freeze plugs... there are 2 freeze plugs on each head, one in the front and one in the rear... it could be leaking from there.

why don't you buy a pressure tester and put the system under pressure and whalaaaaaaaaaa you'll see the green stuff where ever the external leak is speewing to the ground or dripping for that matter or even wheeping!!!

the only two ways that you can be losing coolant from inside the bellhousing are:

You spilled some!
or
You have a cracked engine block!
