Okay, I found a deal I just dont' know if I can refuse.

My car is a 5-speed now, but not pushing over 300 I'm sure.

When the engine is finished it should be in the 550hp range. So, i've been debating what to do about a transmission because the stock t-5 won't last long.

I found a guy to sell me a Jasper c6 with 6000 Miles on it, the paint still looks new, good for 750 hp, AND a 2500 stall for 225 dollars. Should I pick it up?

is the motor gonna be a small block? if it is then hell no. if its a bb then maybe, although the c4 with the correct bellhousing will bolt up and u can beef it up to hold that power.

C6's take alot of power to drive, and are pretty heavy. But that seems pretty cheap. If i had some extra cash id probably pick it up. If you dont like it, sell it.

see thats the dilema. Its a SBF. But I couldn't build a tranny myself that cheap.

use it for the time to save up for a c4, then sell it at the strip

so would there be a power loss from running this tranny then?

From what I have read on the forums the C6 will rob more power from the engine than the C4 would.
