Ok well i havea 94 gt auto and its got slp loud mouths on it and when i rev my car its got a nasty back fire to it winding down how do i get it to stop?

does he/do you have a mid pipe of any kind other then stock on or anyheaders????

nope neither of us have any mid pipes or headers, but i have a bassani catted x pipe coming any day now but right now no nothing.

hmm thats weird, i know they usually back fire when you have a h or x with no cats, but other then that it usually sounds normal. You might want to go back and make sure you pipes are lined up and tightened the same on each side so there is no way exhaust can escape

they will have that popping noise for a while until the metal tempers a little bit
